Ask for Help When You Need it Most
That’s the time to ask,
And it may be the hardest time to ask,
Because I’m so embarrassed,
I messed up.
And I’m afraid to ask.
It’s the time to “fess up,”
The time to take responsibility,
The time to admit I made a mistake,
And say “I’m sorry,”
And the time to ask God for help.
It’s also the time to realize
That God wants to help me.
He loves me,
And because I am His child,
He will help me.
He wants me to reach out to Him.
He’s always reaching out to me.
He knows I need His help,
And that’s what He’s there for,
To help me.
I need to ask for help.
I won’t be sorry.
Without a doubt,
He will help me.
