How I Love This Woman

Dream of her.

She’s a woman.

She’s flesh and blood and bone

Heart and Soul.

An unwavering image of strength.

But is she real?

Or just a figment of my imagination?

She enters the room

Like a breath of fresh air.

I’m spellbound

I am transfixed

By the image before me.

Might she be real?

Or just a virtual thought in my brain?

It’s my psyche on fire.

It’s incomprehensible.

I look.

I see.

I desire.

There’s longing.

There’s delight.

A feeling of warmth comes over me

Fingers touch

A light embrace

Heads turn.

I touch her face with gentle love.

We’re one.

But is she real?

Or just a figment of my imagination?

Whatever it is

I think it’s beautiful.

I know not where 

I saw a more beautiful face.

I have disappeared.

She’s all there is.

She’s s woman!

But is she real?

And what a world that would be, 

A world full of love.

Is that conceivable?

I wonder.

It would certainly be a new world.

That’s what I want,

A new world full of love.

What would it be like?

It would be a kinder, more thoughtful, more compassionate world

I can hardly imagine that.

A world in which we all focused on

Helping one another.

A world in which people thought of giving

Rather than taking.

What a world that would be.

We would all be helping one another.

And it is well known,

That when we give to others, 

The gifts always return to us.

That’s love’s way.

A Day to Love God

Today is that day.

It’s the day to nurture our spirit,

By loving God.

That is the greatest act we could ever perform.

In order to fully understand 

How to emulate God’s love,

We have to understand it’s extent,

How it encompasses his loving every human being

As well as everything He has created.

How can He not love every object of His creation?

It would be an absurdity

For Him not to love all He has created.

Despite our judgment regarding mankind,

He loves each one of us,

Every single human being.

That’s the extent of His love.

There’s nothing you could do,

That would diminish His love for you.

That’s how God’s love functions,

It excludes no man.

Perhaps we should exclude none,

That would make us Godlike.

A love story,

God’s love story,

Written just for us.

He tells us this story every day,

But often we do not hear it.

So when you read this book,

Be careful to hear it.

And if you do.

Will appear to you.

What more could He have possibly done for me?

He gave me life.

There is no more that could be imagined.

No more.

He gave me His Holy Spirit,

And the breath of God entered into me,

And my life began.

God breathed life into me.

What a beginning it was.

It was magnificent.

Consider it,

From nothingness to where I am now.

What does God now expect of me?

Nothing!

He expects nothing.

Because He leaves it all up to me.

We are supposed to have free will.

God remembers that.

Messages of love, sent from God, 

The Source of all love.

They are messages destined for you, my readers,

Sent through the hands of this writer,

Who is God’s messenger of love.

What an honor it is to be that messenger.

I am the one who delivers to you,

God’s messages of love,

But I must love you,

Before I am able to transport those messages to you,

God’s Messages of love.

                  

Love is the only treasure I have to give to you, my readers.

It’s my reason for writing my poems.

But the ultimate goal is,

For you and I to learn to proclaim our love

To the entire Universe,
