Happiness

As you can see,

It’s the overriding goal,

Of every poem and blog I write.

Happiness

Every word I write,

In every poem and blog I write,

Is happiness driven.

Happiness

I wish it for you,

For every moment  of every day.

And God wishes it for you.

Happiness

That is what God is.

Then that is what I will choose.

And you may wish to choose it as well.

Happiness

Search for it and it will be yours.

God has been offering it to you.

So why not choose it?

My Poem Descends Upon Me

When I sit down to write my poem,

I look up within me,

And my poem descends upon me.

The thoughts are there.

The words appear.

I am grateful,

And I wonder.

Who is writing this?

I or God,

Or both of us?

I am grateful to God for this experience.

He comes down.

He takes my hand.

Explains His plan.

I listen and write.

He is pleased.

Each Poem Becomes a Prayer

If I wish,

I can make each poem a prayer.

I am grateful for each poem,

Because it comes down to me

From God.

If I make a poem a conversation with God,

It becomes a prayer.

He speaks to me.

I respond.

What could be more beautiful?

I sit down each day to pray,

To connect with the Source and the Universe.

You too, when you sit down and read,

You can connect,

And may enter into a prayer.

It’s your prayer.

It feels good.

The universe is pleased.

You have become one with it.

And the world smiles down at you.

I Call It a Blog

I call it a blog,

But really,

It’s a prayer.

I ask God in the morning

For a thought to write about.

And He sends an answer to my prayer.

Faithfully,

I write it down,

And I thank Him.

He’s so good to me. 

I call it a blog.

I sit down and look up,

And the Spirit descends.

I feel His breath,

It fills my whole being.

I say “thank you.”

Did I compose it?

Or did He put it in my brain?

Who’s the author?

He or I?

What a beautiful mystery.

The Happiness Solution

Happiness

Is one of the greatest anxiety solutions.

First comes love.

Then comes peace in second place.

And third comes happiness/joy,

Two words for the same attribute.

Love, Peace, and Joy

Are the best description of God

That I can think of.

God is only a word,

But Love, Peace, and Joy

Paint a most beautiful picture of God.

We have listed many anxiety solutions,

But Love, Peace, and Joy,

They are the greatest.

In this section we will describe happiness.

It is the antithesis, the opposite of anxiety.

Anxiety is a problem, happiness is a solution.

Love, Peace, and Joy,

They are the three great choices,

The three great solutions to anxiety.

Negativity Does Not Exist

Negativity is non-existent.

It has to be created.

Only I can do that.

I bring it into existence in my mind,

Only in my mind,

Not in reality.

Negativity

I have the power to create it.

A Good God cannot do that.

God is Good.

He cannot create negativity.

It is the antithesis of Goodness.

Negativity

It only exists in my world,

Not in God’s beautiful Universe.

It is the means by which I torture myself.

It’s the chimera of the mind,

The monster I create.

God cannot create monsters,

Only I can.

Don’t choose to create them.

I hope I will never forget to make my poems

Messages of love, sent from God, 

The Source of all love.

They are messages destined for you, my readers,

Sent through the hands of this writer,

Who is God’s messenger of love.

What an honor it is to be that messenger.

I am the one who delivers to you,

God’s messages of love,

But I must love you,

Before I am able to transport those messages to you,

God’s Messages of love.

                  

Love is the only treasure I have to give to you, my readers.

It’s my reason for writing my poems.

But the ultimate goal is,

For you and I to learn to proclaim our love

To the entire Universe,

Through the loving ways we live our lives.

Right now.

It must be God’s plan.

They come from heaven.

They come from the Source.

From where else could they possibly come?

They come from the source of all wisdom.

They are gifts from the Source.

They are given to me,

For the purpose

Of my giving them to you,

The readers of my blog.

They are meant to be shared by me

With you the children of God.

These gifts

Are not for tomorrow or yesterday

But for today

That’s transformation.

Perhaps happiness is not a goal.

It’s a result,

A result of a positive change,

A result of my love for God.

So in the end, transformation is all about love,

As to how we personally would make

A more beautiful world.

It will be our world,

Does God Want to be My Friend?

Of course, He wants to be my friend.

He’s close to me.

He ought to be.

He made me.

Of course, He wants me to be His friend.

He wants me to be close to Him.

I ought to be.

He made me.

Imagine what a friend He would make.

He could only be

A perfect friend,

Because God does everything perfectly.

I think God would like it,

If I became His friend.

I think both of us would like it.

And the world would be a better place.

What a friend He would make,

Always faithful,

Always there,

Always caring.

What a world it would be!
