The Mind of God is Within Us

What does that mean?

It’s difficult to fathom.

And we probably never will understand it completely,

Because it is beyond our comprehension,

That he lives in us.

The mind of God is within us.

That is because we are a thought of God.

 We are an expression of His mind.

God is in every object He conceives,

And remains there forever.

If God is within us,

He is there to share his wisdom.

He wants to do that.

He is sharing it,

Because He loves us so much.

His wisdom has been put there

For our benefit and use.

It’s a gift from up above.

Is God in Heaven?

He better be!

I was planning on going there.

The big question is:

What is heaven?

It’s not a place!

                                                                                                                 Then what is it?

It’s a state of existence,

A state of being,

Wellbeing,

A spiritual place of being.

It’s where spirits hang out.

How do you get there?

Since it’s a place for spirits,

You’ll need to leave your body behind.

That’s why God invented death.

It’s a very practical way to meet Him. 

And live it up!

That’s what heaven’s for,

It’s a place to kick off your shoes,

And live it up.

If you read the above right,

It’s all true.

Beauty Surrounds Us 

How can that be?

Where does it come from?

Remember!

God is everywhere,

Because He is a spirit,

And spirit is not limited by space.

God is beauty.

He is all the beauty that ever existed.

His beauty follows Him.

It too, is everywhere.

Wherever you look,

You will find His beauty.

The Beauty of the Universe,

It’s God’s beauty.

Look for it,

And you will find it.

But you have to look,

And He and His beauty will be there.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder,

Behold!

Or we will have no beauty,

Nothing is beautiful unless it is seen.

We give beauty its existence,

It has but to be seen to become beautiful.

Imagine what power you have.

The Source

Has given you the power to create.

I have been suggesting

That we make this world a better place.

You have the power.

You create the beauty in your world.

It is only as magnificent as you make it.

You are, indeed, the master of your destiny,

It depends on your vision.

Don’t cloud your vision with negative thinking.

I envision each one of us

Making this world a more beautiful place.

How we see people, will determine

How we greet and treat them.

My Journey to God

Life is  a journey.

It is meant to bring me to God.

He is my destination.

He wants to share with me His gifts. 

Why else would He create me?

Whatever happens to me is for that purpose.

It takes me to God.

All that happens along the way

Is meant to bring me to Him

Or to your version of Him.

Everything that comes to me in life

Is a gift of God.

Everything!

There are no exceptions.

They are all opportunities.

They will bring me to God,

My destination,

The Source of all that exists

And He will give me of His essence.

I Put My Trust in God

I put my trust in God,

Or do I?

It’s so easy to say I do,

But so difficult to do so.

I wish I could.

I think I try so hard, 

But maybe I’m not trying very hard at all.

It should be so easy to trust Him.

Why don’t I?

Maybe it’s not important to me.

Imagine that!

It’s not important for me to trust God.

How can that be?

Why don’t I want this mighty Being in my life?

How sad that is.

I must be missing a lot in life,

By not trusting

This mighty man.

Just think what He could have done for me, 

And now I have nothing because He is everything.

What is it?

It’s for you to define.

Isn’t that great?

You can make it whatever you wish.

But shoot high!

Don’t limit it.

Make it like you,

Magnificent.

And what will make you truly happy?

Think hard!

I can tell you what will make you happy.

It will be what makes the world happy.

Just think,

What makes the world happy,

Will make you happy.

So be good to the world.

What a fine life you will live,

You lucky person.

What a beautiful world you will have created.

Know God and You’ll Get to Trust Him

     

And it also has been said,

Unless you know God

You’ll never be able see Him.

It’s obviously important to know God,

Because our happiness may depend upon it.

Maybe I need to know Him much better.

That would indicate a need 

 To have a relationship with God

Before I am able to trust Him.

It may be worthwhile to really know Him well.

Or maybe our problem is,

We were told it was up to us

To take control of our lives.

And that we don’t need anyone else’s help,

We can do it alone.

From experience I may someday learn that

“No man is an island.”

We can’t do it alone,

We need others. 

We may even need God.

Ask for help. 

He promised it.

Trust Him.

You’re his child.

He’ll always be there for you.

He always is!

See God Everywhere

He’s waiting for you to see Him,

Keep looking,

And you’ll find Him.

He wants to be found,

That’s why He makes the word so beautiful.

Find Him!

You don’t have to look very hard.

Just look!

He’s trying to make it easy,

But you have to want to see Him.

The beauty’s there,

It’s in the rocks and trees,

It’s in the heartbeat and the sweat,

It’s in the talking and listening as well as in the tears,

It’s in the birdsong and the cooing, maybe even in the mooing.

Fall in love with it,

And you’ll know it belongs to God.

If only you appreciate

The beauty of God.

It’s then you will have come to life.

Your eyes will have opened,

As well as your heart and soul. 

You will have heard God’s song,

It’s always a love song,

And it’s just for you.

From the 14 Step Anxiety Solutions Program,

And creates a 14 Step Healthy Living Plan.

It enables us to reach the highest level

Of healthy living,

Reaching our spiritual goals in life:

Love, peace and joy,

As God experiences them.

Imagine being able to conquer our anxiety,

And then being able 

To keep our anxiety at bay,

While taking on the task

Of taking our life to its highest level.

That’s a beautiful goal.

How to Dedicate My Life to God?

Dedicating my life to God,

That’s an interesting concept.

I wonder how many people do that?

That’s interesting as well.

Why give my life to God?

That probably comes before “how dedicate my life.”

Does anybody want to give their life to God?

Does anybody even see it as even possible?

Give your life to God.

That’s huge undertaking.

Where would I start?

What would I do? 

But, then again—

Maybe there are different ways 

People can give their life to God.

Maybe just wanting to do so is a good start.

I like that!

Let’s just start here:

There are many good people

Who want to serve God.

And they may do it in a thousand different ways,

And I thought there was only one way.

That’s what I thought,

I must have been mistaken.

Hum!

We’re going to have to think this over.

It leads me to believe God will accept 

Many different ways for us to show our love.

I guess He’s flexible.

That’s a nice character quality.

A Life Centered on God.

Centering one’s life on God

Would be a tremendous accomplishment.

Don’t you desire that?

Isn’t that the most wondrous life possible?

What could surpass that?

What more could you desire?

That’s the ultimate in living.

Such a life might be beyond consideration,

Even beyond one’s imagination.

It would involve an intimate relationship with God.

A union, a friendship with God.

It would involve being One with God

It would be a sublime life

A life consumed with the love of God

And His universe.

Now that’s a life.

Now and Forever

Now is the point of power,

It is in this  very moment.

It is the only time we have power,

And that is in the now and forever now.

To create our own beautiful life, 

We can only do it 

In the now of today,

In the now of the moment.

That’s all that exists,

It’s all there is.

So how can we worry?

Anxiety is never in the now.

Worry

Wanders the world.

It is not in the eternal now,

It’s here and there and everywhere.

The power to create,

Does not exist in the past or the future.

It’s in the now,

Nowhere else.

So we must stay forever in the now,

It’s the only place in which we truly can exist,

It’s the only place that does exist.

It is Now!

It is Forever!
