It’s Monday, Love Day,

It’s time for me to go to the source of all love,

And ask for help reducing anxiety.

I probably need some help.

I could try it alone,

But I think it’s better to ask for help.

I’m going to check later

On how many times I asked for help today.

Here are more topics I can choose to work on:

Practice focusing on being in the present moment.

List the benefits of positive thinking.

List the consequences of negative thinking.

Identify situations that herald the onset of my anxiety.

I will deal with one issue at a time.

That’s all I can do,

I’ll keep it simple!

How can I promote calm and peace within myself?

What has worked in the past?

How can I use my breathing to relax?

Here’s what I can do:

Every time I am anxious

I can focus on my breathing until I am calm.

I am going to give it a try!

I won’t be overwhelmed by the above list!

I will make each topic I choose easy to do.

If it seems difficult,

I won’t do it,

Until I can make it easy to do.

Easy does it!

It’s just one step at a time.

Learning to Love

 

That sounds like a good idea.

Everybody should do that.

Everybody needs to learn to love.

Everybody needs to grow more loving,

Including me.

Love has no limit.

Our ability to love can always be enhanced.

After all, love is the most sublime

Of all virtues.

Above all else,

It is what we need.

Nothing will serve me better than the art of loving.

But how do we learn to love?

I’m not sure anyone can teach us,

But surely we can learn.

Then why in heaven’s name

Don’t we make it our supreme goal in life?

“Learning to love”

Do you need to be convinced of its value?

Then convince yourself,

Because nothing will serve you better.

Nothing will make you more God-like

Than learning to love.

It is life’s ultimate achievement.

Learn to love.

We all need to do that.

What does that mean?

Does it mean we are joined together with God?

If we connect will we be One with Him?

Will it result in a relationship?

And will we then be in harmony with the Divine?

Yes to all the above

Shouldn’t this connecting with God be our goal in life?

It does appear to be a good idea.

It’s the greatest of all connections,

Union with God.

And happiness accompanies it.

What a goal!

Connecting with God

Brings happiness

Could we ask for more?

It’s so hard to believe,

We give so little,

And we get so much.

Today is Love day,

And that’s what this is all about.

We share in God’s infinite love,

When we connect.

Let’s do it.

Let’s connect.

We do too much, we love too little

Maybe we don’t value love enough

That’s undoubtedly true

Let’s change that

Love more!

We tend to choose the concrete

We become material persons

We overlook the spiritual

We very often

Don’t even know it exists

It’s topsy-turvy

Our world is inverted

The material is on top of the mountain

The spiritual is under the mountain

It’s hidden away in some cave

Don’t let the Spirit be forgotten

Nor love

They are of too much value

To be relegated to the underworld

Love is the sign of the Spirit, the sign of God

True love

Is evidence of God

Where has it gone?

Where is God?

If you find Love, you will find God

Loving and doing

Let’s combine the two

Let’s put love on top of the mountain

And let the Spirit of Love

Guide us in all we do

Love letters from God

 

I am fortunate to be able to put my name

On each of my blogs

They are all love letters

They appear to come through my pen

To you, my friends

But I really know

They come from God, the author of all love

What a privilege it is

To be part of this transmission

Part of this interchange between God and you

I love you both

I truly am privileged to be the intermediary

Who has the honor of “writing” these blogs

And now the honor of writing a book about them

In order to find the time to complete this book for publication

A heart on fire

Is a heart consumed with love

Love for God and his children

Every single human being is a child of the Universe

We need to love every one of those children

When we do so and only then

Will we be truly in love with God

Will we be truly consumed by his love

And become a heart on fire with the love of God

A heart on fire

There is a burning need within each of us

The need for love

The need to love another human being

And the ultimate need

The need to love God and all of his children

Do you know what the result will be?

A heart on fire

The fire of love

Be consumed with love

It’s all it takes to be a saint

It’s being totally consumed with the love of God

And all his children

Loving God

Means loving all the children of the world

All of humankind

And all the universe as well

The Wisdom Within

Each one of us has acquired wisdom

Wisdom

Is the understanding that results

From the coming together of knowledge and experience

And the knowing that the resulting understanding is good

Wisdom

We all have that wisdom within us

But it’s not always easy to follow

Instead we make excuses and do things

That do not produce good results

It takes courage to be wise

The Wisdom Within

If we follow the wisdom within us

The outcome will always be good

If someone else is involved in a decision

That complicates the decision making

It still requires that the resulting understanding will produce good results

Maybe not what we wished for

Wisdom

Leads us to do the right thing

And that takes courage

That involves our taking into consideration

Our knowledge, experience and the resulting understanding

And if it is truly wisdom, that understanding will produce what is right for us

The Wisdom Within

It’s only truly wisdom when we are able to apply

The knowledge and experience

That produces the wise decision

That’s the wisdom

God can help me be happy

But he has given it to me to create

No one else is in charge of its creation but me

It’s up to me

Only I can make it happen

Happiness is my choice

It’s mine to create

I can choose to be happy or not

Should I choose to let it pass me by?

It would be my worst choice ever

Happiness

It increases the odds of my succeeding in life

Unhappiness

Will make success much more difficult

I must decide between the two

Is there really a choice?

Let happiness be my choice

It always is up to me
