Is God in Heaven?

He better be!

I was planning on going there.

The big question is:

What is heaven?

It’s not a place!

                                                                                                                 Then what is it?

It’s a state of existence,

A state of being,

Wellbeing,

A spiritual place of being.

It’s where spirits hang out.

How do you get there?

Since it’s a place for spirits,

You’ll need to leave your body behind.

That’s why God invented death.

It’s a very practical way to meet Him. 

And live it up!

That’s what heaven’s for,

It’s a place to kick off your shoes,

And live it up.

If you read the above right,

It’s all true.

A Mind Full of the Reality of Now

How could a mind be full of the reality of now?

What does it mean?

Can we really be that focused on the now?

And do we want to be that focused?

What would that be like?

It doesn’t sound like it’s for the fainthearted,

Maybe only for the strongminded,

For the courageous.

It sounds like it would take a lot of focus

To be that mindful.

I don’t know if I want to give that much,

But maybe success requires it,

Maybe it demands we focus,

That we give ourselves to the moment,

This very moment,

Because there is no other moment.

Be immersed in the ocean of now,

That’s what it means.

It’s all that exists,

There really is no other place.

If you are not full of this reality

You are not where the truth lives, 

Or where God resides. 

I wonder if it’s heaven,

I hope so.

A Life Dedicated to God

If my life were dedicated to God,

It would involve a total commitment to Him. 

I would have to love God,

Not just a little bit, 

But with my whole being.

It would entail

The biggest commitment of my life.

But also it would bring the greatest reward.

It would enable me to live in heaven while on earth.

That’s the power I would receive.

Can you believe

If I dedicated myself totally to God,

I would be given

The possibility of bringing heaven to my existence on earth?

Who would have thought it possible?

Only God would have.

No one else.

And Only God would have done that. 

It would have required a gift from a generous God,

To one worthy of the gift,

And to one who believed in that possibility.

Do I wish to live a heavenly existence while on earth?

Of course I do!

I am there

In the mind of God

Where I always have been

I am a thought

In the mind of God

Creation

It involves coming into human existence

But before coming on earth

We existed

In the mind of God

Existence

We all existed forever and ever in the mind of God

Even those who have not yet been created

If God knows all

He knew it from all eternity

Eternity

It is without beginning or end

For all eternity

We have existed in the mind of God

And we always will
