When do You Become an Addict
Or alcoholic?
That seems to be a very difficult question to answer,
But maybe it’s very simple.
What are addicts like?
And what do they like?
The answer to both questions is the same.
They are in love with their drug.
So, what does the addict in recovery have to do?
That’s a tough one.
They have to fall out of love with their drug,
And that ain’t easy.
For most it is practically impossible,
At the very least it’s tough.
You can’t get in bed with your mistress.
Keep away
From the persons, places and things that lie in bed with her.
They are adorned exotically,
And very few can resist their perfume.
Keep away from them.
That ain’t easy!
But maybe you can do it.
