Humility

It may mean the ability to ask for help.

If you want to achieve something,

Get on it.

After you have read this poem.

Ask.

Take advantage of all avenues to get what you need,

All of them.

Overlook none.

It will take all your energy 

To overcome your anxiety.

Go all the way .

Give it your very best.

You have to show your stuff to the giver,

If you really want the gift.

He won’t give it unless you want it badly.

So now you’re ready to ask

With confidence.

It feels good,

It always feels good,

If you’re ready to receive.

And now is the time,

The time to reduce your anxiety.

You can only do it now.

Tomorrow will disappear tomorrow.

Now always awaits you..

It’s time to ask.

“Ask for Help” Solutions

I am the blogger.

I too need help for anxiety.

Maybe we all need help,

Some to a greater degree,

Some to a lesser degree.

The best of us may need it--

If there even is a best.

Let’s assume

Most people, if not all,

Have some anxiety.

Maybe it is true of you,

Just a tiny bit.

Let’s conclude it is,

And ask for help.

Now that’s humility.

Ask for help,

It can’t hurt.

I wonder what it would be like to get help,

I wonder.

What could it do for me?

Would it be good?

I wonder.

Anxiety Solution One

Why ask for help?

Don’t we all need it?

If you think you don’t,

You may have

An exaggerated opinion of yourself,

That could lead to your downfall.

Or maybe you are just plain foolish,

And you’re not thinking

When you ask for help,

You show wisdom,

And the humility

To acknowledge:

I do not know it all.

I am just a human being.

Sometimes I need help,

But I have the courage to ask for it.

Somewhere in the bible

It is said:

“Ask and you will receive”.

Ask a friend, a family member or someone else,

Or maybe even

Ask God.

We need help,

From anywhere we can get it.

I’m mediocre

I’m not going anywhere

I’m neither here, nor there

I’m the nowhere guy

I’m not a sinner not a saint

I’m the nowhere gal

I’m just not going anywhere

I’m in the middle

I wish I were somebody

I wish I were special

I wish I were happy

I wish, I wish

I have no goals that get me somewhere

I’m just not going anywhere

I’m a nice guy

I’m a nice gal

I’m liked

I can be fun

I’m okay I guess

I’m not bad 

I’m just not going anywhere

I’m mediocre

I’m stuck

I don’t know who I am or who I am supposed to be

I’m okay I guess

I’m no better than most

I’m no worse

I’m just not going anywhere
