What’s the Right Time to Read Your Poem?

What’s the right time?

It’s any time that’s right for you.

It has to be your time,

Not mine.

The right time to read your poem,

Is the time that’s right for you.

 I choose to write my blog,

And have it posted the night before,

Just in case you want to read it 

Early in the morning,

With a lover or a friend,

Or yourself.

But the best time really,

Is when you have the leisure

To unhurriedly read your poem,

So you can think about what it means,

Or even meditate on the meaning it has for you.

So find your right time.

It’s Another Way to Look at the World

It’s another way to look at yourself,

And your life.

What do I want in this lifetime?

What are my goals?

Where am I heading in life?

We all want happiness,

Love and peace and joy.

I do. You do.

We deserve it.

You can make it happen.

Let these poems open you up,

So you can be free to be yourself,

So your soul can breathe,

So you can truly live your life

To whatever degree you wish.

Let the poetry stir your very being

With hope,

And the belief,

That I can find happiness,

Love and peace and joy

We deserve it.
