Do Whatever is Best for You

If you are truly doing what is best for you,

You’re doing God’s will.

It’s that simple.

So the question to ask yourself:

Is this God’s will?

Is it good?

If not, 

it’s not God’s will.

Will doing it make you happy?

If not,

It’s not God’s will.

Do what’s best for you.

It must not just be good,

It must be good for you.

If not,

It’s not God’s will.

Is it God’s will?

It must be good.

It must make you happy.

It must be good for you.

It sounds like a winner.

Maybe there’s more to it than that.

God is Good

That’s nice,

But what does it mean?

Does it mean that He does good things?

Or does it mean

It is of his essence to be good?

Which would indicate

It is an essential part of His being, or His nature

To be good.

It is so essential,

That if He were not good or if He were bad,

He would not be God.

What about the other above question?

“Does that mean He does good things?”

Yes, it does,

and only good things.

And if He did bad things,

He would not be God.

He is, indeed, only good,

Anything else would not be conceivable. 

God is good.
