The Essence of Prayer

Prayer is our connection with God,

That’s the very heart of prayer.

It enables us to become One with God,

It allows us to develop a relationship with God.

Do you want to be close to God?

Pray! 

Prayer is a way, a channel

To understand God,

To get to know God,

To unite with God,

To love God,

Pray!

And this is just the beginning of the story,

About the essence of prayer.

It’s the tie that exists

Between

Heaven and earth.

A Day to Love God

Today is that day.

It’s the day to nurture our spirit,

By loving God.

That is the greatest act we could ever perform.

In order to fully understand 

How to emulate God’s love,

We have to understand it’s extent,

How it encompasses his loving every human being

As well as everything He has created.

How can He not love every object of His creation?

It would be an absurdity

For Him not to love all He has created.

Despite our judgment regarding mankind,

He loves each one of us,

Every single human being.

That’s the extent of His love.

There’s nothing you could do,

That would diminish His love for you.

That’s how God’s love functions,

It excludes no man.

Perhaps we should exclude none,

That would make us Godlike.
