May is My New Book Month

Search for meaning

I am trying to explore the reasons

Why I write these poems.

Here are some I discovered yesterday.

Beautiful reasons.

I write to honor God,

And to express my gratitude to Him,

For the gift He has given me,

The celebration of His wisdom.

I realize the wisdom within us is His,

But he also allows it to become ours.

He shares His wisdom with us.

How privileged we are to participate in that wisdom.

I write to tell everyone

Of the beauty that resides in God’s wisdom,

And that it’s all available to us.

It is there to enhance our lives.

I write for all of you and for me.

Never forget yourself!

I also believe it to be my duty,

To share God’s wisdom with you.

Another goal of my poems,

Is to write them with the intention,

That they become prayers.

That we allow ourselves to enter into those prayers.

And we make our life a prayer to God,

A union with God and the universe.

Dr. Tony’s Poems

I write my poems

Because I want to honor God.

He has given me the gift of poetry.

I am grateful for this gift,

And I thank him.

I write my poems

Because it’s my duty to share with you

The wisdom of God

And your wisdom within you.

They are both the same.

I write my poems

To help you recognize

The beauty already within you,

So you too can share it with the world

And thank God for it.

I write my poems

To celebrate the wisdom of God,

To share it with you,

Just as He shared it with me

Before I wrote it down.

I write my poems

For you, for me, and for the universe.

By writing them

I honor Him,

And show Him my love.

I write my poems

As prayers to God,

Sacred Events,

To be written and spoken

With reverence and love.
