I Call It a Blog

I call it a blog,

But really,

It’s a prayer.

I ask God in the morning

For a thought to write about.

And He sends an answer to my prayer.

Faithfully,

I write it down,

And I thank Him.

He’s so good to me. 

I call it a blog.

I sit down and look up,

And the Spirit descends.

I feel His breath,

It fills my whole being.

I say “thank you.”

Did I compose it?

Or did He put it in my brain?

Who’s the author?

He or I?

What a beautiful mystery.
