I Put My Trust in God

I put my trust in God,

Or do I?

It’s so easy to say I do,

But so difficult to do so.

I wish I could.

I think I try so hard, 

But maybe I’m not trying very hard at all.

It should be so easy to trust Him.

Why don’t I?

Maybe it’s not important to me.

Imagine that!

It’s not important for me to trust God.

How can that be?

Why don’t I want this mighty Being in my life?

How sad that is.

I must be missing a lot in life,

By not trusting

This mighty man.

Just think what He could have done for me, 

And now I have nothing because He is everything.

I Give You my Poems

I write them for you,

And I know you will make them yours,

Because that’s how it should be.

We give our own meaning to all we touch,

To all that comes before us.

No poem I ever wrote ever meant what I thought it meant,

Except me.

So when you read one of my poems,

Realize you gave it meaning,

As the result of your thinking.

When you read my poem,

It’s becomes yours,

Because the poem now 

Is your creation,

Not mine.

When you read my poem,

Realize it was written for you,

For your joy.

For your pleasure,

Not for mine.

Enjoy your poem!

It’s now yours.

Maybe wisdom is a Spiritual Thing

All wisdom is of the Source.

Of what else could it be?

Wisdom is special,

It must come from some magnificent entity.

Perhaps it’s a precious jewel,

An object of great worth,

Or a maybe a spiritual entity,

Come from up above.

What is wisdom?

It is the highest form of thought,

It comes from a transcending spirit. 

You may give it a name.

Find wisdom and hold on to it.

There may be nothing more precious

In all the world.

Wisdom is of the spirit, not of man.

It is one to the wonders of the world.

Actually the most wondrous of them all.

It comes from the mind

Of the spirit of the universe.

It is available to us all.

We can find it,

If we search for it.

Welcome it!

And it will come to us.

Healthy Living

What is it?

It’s for you to define.

Isn’t that great?

You can make it whatever you wish.

But shoot high!

Don’t limit it.

Make it like you,

Magnificent.

And what will make you truly happy?

Think hard!

I can tell you what will make you happy.

It will be what makes the world happy.

Just think,

What makes the world happy,

Will make you happy.

So be good to the world.

What a fine life you will live,

You lucky person.

What a beautiful world you will have created.

It’s the same Program but with Different Goals

The same program that gets us out of anxiety,

Keeps us free of anxiety.

It’s almost miraculous.

One frees us from anxiety,

The other keeps us free of anxiety.

One makes us healthy,

The other keeps us healthy.

As long as we persevere

In working our anxiety programs

We’ll be successful.

Growth must be sustained

By continuing to focus on healthy living.

If we’re not moving forward,

We’re likely going backward,

And then our anxiety will return.

To stay anxiety free,

We need to continue freedom’s journey,

It’s freedom from anxiety.

Freedom Is worth the effort

And so are we.

The programs are called

The Anxiety Solutions Program,

And the Healthy Living Program.

They are one and the same.

And they represent freedom from anxiety’s misery.

The Value of a Relationship with God

Get to know God,

That’s the value of a true relationship with God.

Better yet!

Become God’s friend,

That’s an even higher form of relationship.

Wow!

Imagine becoming a friend of God,

Me,

A friend of God.

That’s beyond my highest expectation.

It’s beyond what I could have ever imagined.

Now we will really get to know each other.

We will become close friends,

Maybe even best friends.

There is no greater relationship than that.

Let’s not expect to meet Him “up there,”

That’s the spirit world.

Ask Him to come “down here,”

Into our world,

And teach us to be best friends.

That will enable us to get to know Him,

And we will have the power

To see God In every nook and cranny of this universe.

We will also have the power

To be best friends with God.

Know God and You’ll Get to Trust Him

     

And it also has been said,

Unless you know God

You’ll never be able see Him.

It’s obviously important to know God,

Because our happiness may depend upon it.

Maybe I need to know Him much better.

That would indicate a need 

 To have a relationship with God

Before I am able to trust Him.

It may be worthwhile to really know Him well.

Or maybe our problem is,

We were told it was up to us

To take control of our lives.

And that we don’t need anyone else’s help,

We can do it alone.

From experience I may someday learn that

“No man is an island.”

We can’t do it alone,

We need others. 

We may even need God.

Ask for help. 

He promised it.

Trust Him.

You’re his child.

He’ll always be there for you.

He always is!
