My dear, dear fellow traveler,

You are on a journey,

Just as I am.

We are fellow travelers,

As is every inhabitant of this universe.

Perhaps,

We ought to be assisting one another 

On our journey.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we all traveled together?

Then we would truly be fellow travelers.

It’s such an important journey,

It means everything.

Let’s make it a good journey.

Let’s travel together, 

Let’s be there for one another.

Focus on people,

Those beautiful creatures of God.

We often overlook and minimize their importance to us.

We need them,

They need us,

We need each other.

But we tend to focus on ourselves, 

Not on others.

The more we do that, the less we gain.

On the other hand,

The more we focus on people, 

The more we gain.

We are here to help people.

They need us,

We need them,

We need each other.

My task is

To focus on the people.

Anxiety Ain’t Cool

In fact, it’s foolish.

It’s no where’s land. 

When you’re anxious 

You’re nowhere, 

You’re stuck.

Anxiety will get you nowhere,

It’s not the place to be.

Anxiety is never the place to be,

It won’t get you anywhere,

It’s no where’s land.

There’s only one thing to do

Get out of there.

It’s the only constructive thing to do,

It’s your only task,

Find your way out.

To protect yourself from anxiety,

You always have to know your way out,

In case you fall into the anxiety trap.

So make a plan to get out

Before anxiety strikes.

And the goal will be 

To find peace and calm,

Quiet and stillness 

That’s heaven.

Make it your home.

The Essence of Prayer

Prayer is our connection with God,

That’s the very heart of prayer.

It enables us to become One with God,

It allows us to develop a relationship with God.

Do you want to be close to God?

Pray! 

Prayer is a way, a channel

To understand God,

To get to know God,

To unite with God,

To love God,

Pray!

And this is just the beginning of the story,

About the essence of prayer.

It’s the tie that exists

Between

Heaven and earth.

Lesson Four

Let’s Make Lesson Four

Your Creation.

Let it be totally your idea,

Your prayer.

And God will see it as a work of art,

Emanating from your heart

And soul and inner being.

It’s your prayer, 

Be still.

It’s totally Yours,

Let it come forth. 

And you may hear yourself speak,

But it may really be the voice of God.

Listen to what He has to say to You.

You’re in God’s presence,

Maybe you’ll see Him, or hear Him

Or feel Him.

He wants to hear from you.

Speak to Him. 

He’ll be pleased,

He loves you.

And God will appreciate what you said to Him.

Let’s Learn to Pray

Lesson Three

Let’s combine receiving gifts from God 

With giving Him gifts.

It’s fine to ask God for gifts,

But don’t limit your prayers

To “please give me…”

For every gift you receive from God

Give a gift to his universe.

Do something that will make the world a better place.

God would approve of that,

And you in turn will be showered with more gifts.

There are three prayer lessons to note:

Talk to God as a friend.

Be grateful to God for His gifts.

And when God gives you a gift, 

Give Him a gift for His universe.

He will not let you out-do Him.

In Lesson One

We noted prayer is simply

Talking to God.

But it’s best when it’s done

With Love, Peace and Joy,

And we feel it within,

As we converse with God.

In Lesson Two

We note that in addition 

To being filled with Love, Peace and Joy,

It’s good to be filled with gratitude.

We need to be grateful

For all God’s gifts,

And we need to identify those special ones.

Gratitude 

It’s so important.

It says to people we’re not selfish

We think of others,

And that opens the door to receive,

And for God to give

And we continue to be blessed

Gratitude

It is our second prayer lesson.

It shows God we appreciate his gifts.

And God appreciates your gratitude
