Know God and You’ll Get to Trust Him

     

And it also has been said,

Unless you know God

You’ll never be able see Him.

It’s obviously important to know God,

Because our happiness may depend upon it.

Maybe I need to know Him much better.

That would indicate a need 

 To have a relationship with God

Before I am able to trust Him.

It may be worthwhile to really know Him well.

Or maybe our problem is,

We were told it was up to us

To take control of our lives.

And that we don’t need anyone else’s help,

We can do it alone.

From experience I may someday learn that

“No man is an island.”

We can’t do it alone,

We need others. 

We may even need God.

Ask for help. 

He promised it.

Trust Him.

You’re his child.

He’ll always be there for you.

He always is!

See God Everywhere

He’s waiting for you to see Him,

Keep looking,

And you’ll find Him.

He wants to be found,

That’s why He makes the word so beautiful.

Find Him!

You don’t have to look very hard.

Just look!

He’s trying to make it easy,

But you have to want to see Him.

The beauty’s there,

It’s in the rocks and trees,

It’s in the heartbeat and the sweat,

It’s in the talking and listening as well as in the tears,

It’s in the birdsong and the cooing, maybe even in the mooing.

Fall in love with it,

And you’ll know it belongs to God.

If only you appreciate

The beauty of God.

It’s then you will have come to life.

Your eyes will have opened,

As well as your heart and soul. 

You will have heard God’s song,

It’s always a love song,

And it’s just for you.

Know God and You Will Get to See Him

Imagine seeing God!

If that’s what you want.

Then all you have to do

Is get to know Him.

Get to know Him!

Become His friend.

Friends get to know one another.

And they value one another.

Value Him!

Friends must be valued

If they are to be considered friends,

And they need to be loved.

Love Him!

If you can’t love Him

You’ll never be His friend,

And you’ll never see Him.

If you get to know Him,

You’ll get to see Him

In every object 

In the universe.

If you don’t see Him everywhere,

You’ll need to get to know Him better,

And then you’ll find Him.

What a day that will be!

How Can I Deserve to See God’s Goodness

In this Universe?

Do I have to earn it?

Do I have to be worthy of the privilege

Of seeing God in this universe?

It would indeed be a privilege

To see God everywhere.

Perhaps

The privilege would depend 

Upon how well I served God and did His will.

Why would God allow me to see Him,

If I did not do his bidding?

And if I didn’t know God well enough to obey Him,

Could I really recognize Him?

If I saw a waterfall, 

Would I see it as a gift of God,

Or just a lot of water? 

Perhaps

Seeing God’s goodness in the universe could not happen 

Unless I first knew Him.

And knew Him well.

Then I might be able to recognize Him.

Do I need a template within me

To recognize Him outside of me?

Yes, I do.

If He were within me,

Then I would feel Him outside me.

And then I would know Him and see Him.

Why Can’t I See God’s Goodness?

Am I the only one who’s blind?

That doesn’t seem fair.

What am I doing wrong?

What’s my problem?

What do I have to change?

That’s so sad,

Beauty stands before me

And I don’t even see it. 

I must lack Spiritual Vision,

God’s vision.

All the beauty of the world welcomes me,

And I don’t notice it.

What a shame!

It’s everywhere; but for me, it’s nowhere.

Maybe I need to ask for that vision.

“Ask and you will receive.”

It’s a gift,

Given by the giver of all gifts,

Of all goodness.

Gifts sometimes need to be requested.

I have to ask for the gift,

And I have to deserve it.

Maybe I have to do both.

What do I need to do to deserve it?

We’ll find that out.

Of our Healthy Living Plan.

It takes all the topics

From the 14 Step Anxiety Solutions Program,

And creates a 14 Step Healthy Living Plan.

It enables us to reach the highest level

Of healthy living,

Reaching our spiritual goals in life:

Love, peace and joy,

As God experiences them.

Imagine being able to conquer our anxiety,

And then being able 

To keep our anxiety at bay,

While taking on the task

Of taking our life to its highest level.

That’s a beautiful goal.

Spiritual Vision

It is the ability to view the world 

With God’s eyes.

It gives us the power

To see all the beauty within the universe,

And to actually see God 

Everywhere.

You see God

When you see beauty,

Because God is the beauty,

All the beauty that exists.

And with that vision 

You feel God’s presence.

Your Spiritual Vision gives you the power

To perceive the spirit of God,

Which truly is God.

Follow your Spiritual Vision

And it will take you to heaven,

Where the spirit of God exists.
