Look for God’s Goodness

The Goodness of the universe--

It surrounds us.

All that beauty is before our eyes.

Goodness is everywhere,

And nowhere is it absent.

If that’s true,

We are missing so much.

We are missing the magnificence of our home on earth.

Goodness awaits our discovery,

And the universe wishes to share it.

If we do not see the beauty,

We must be wearing blinders,

What a loss that is, 

What a shame

To be so blind.

All we need to acquire

Is spiritual vision.

What is that?

It’s the ability to view the world as God does.

Ask God for the gift.

When you see the goodness before you,

You will see what truly exists.

When you see negativity you see nothing,

But pain and misery,

Negativity is just a passing shadow.

God’s goodness is real,

Nothing else exists.

Look for His goodness.

How to Dedicate My Life to God?

Dedicating my life to God,

That’s an interesting concept.

I wonder how many people do that?

That’s interesting as well.

Why give my life to God?

That probably comes before “how dedicate my life.”

Does anybody want to give their life to God?

Does anybody even see it as even possible?

Give your life to God.

That’s huge undertaking.

Where would I start?

What would I do? 

But, then again—

Maybe there are different ways 

People can give their life to God.

Maybe just wanting to do so is a good start.

I like that!

Let’s just start here:

There are many good people

Who want to serve God.

And they may do it in a thousand different ways,

And I thought there was only one way.

That’s what I thought,

I must have been mistaken.

Hum!

We’re going to have to think this over.

It leads me to believe God will accept 

Many different ways for us to show our love.

I guess He’s flexible.

That’s a nice character quality.

A Life Dedicated to God

If my life were dedicated to God,

It would involve a total commitment to Him. 

I would have to love God,

Not just a little bit, 

But with my whole being.

It would entail

The biggest commitment of my life.

But also it would bring the greatest reward.

It would enable me to live in heaven while on earth.

That’s the power I would receive.

Can you believe

If I dedicated myself totally to God,

I would be given

The possibility of bringing heaven to my existence on earth?

Who would have thought it possible?

Only God would have.

No one else.

And Only God would have done that. 

It would have required a gift from a generous God,

To one worthy of the gift,

And to one who believed in that possibility.

Do I wish to live a heavenly existence while on earth?

Of course I do!

A Life Centered on God.

Centering one’s life on God

Would be a tremendous accomplishment.

Don’t you desire that?

Isn’t that the most wondrous life possible?

What could surpass that?

What more could you desire?

That’s the ultimate in living.

Such a life might be beyond consideration,

Even beyond one’s imagination.

It would involve an intimate relationship with God.

A union, a friendship with God.

It would involve being One with God

It would be a sublime life

A life consumed with the love of God

And His universe.

Now that’s a life.

Now and Forever

Now is the point of power,

It is in this  very moment.

It is the only time we have power,

And that is in the now and forever now.

To create our own beautiful life, 

We can only do it 

In the now of today,

In the now of the moment.

That’s all that exists,

It’s all there is.

So how can we worry?

Anxiety is never in the now.

Worry

Wanders the world.

It is not in the eternal now,

It’s here and there and everywhere.

The power to create,

Does not exist in the past or the future.

It’s in the now,

Nowhere else.

So we must stay forever in the now,

It’s the only place in which we truly can exist,

It’s the only place that does exist.

It is Now!

It is Forever!

This is My Moment

This is My Moment

This is my perfect moment,

It has been destined for all eternity,

Just for me.

It is mine,

No one else’s.

So I must treasure it,

I must never let it slip away,

I must make it memorable,

I must give it value,

It has been given to me by God.

That makes it a treasure.

What a gift it is,

And it is all mine,

Because no one’s moment is similar to mine,

Mine has been made just for me.

What truly makes it perfect

Is my acceptance of it.

If I don’t accept it 

It will not be mine.

I happily accept it.

It will provide me with exactly what I need.

I must accept this gift.

Only after I accept it,

Will it become my moment, 

Will it become perfect.

Will that moment really be that special?

Yes it will,

It has been given to me by God.

Who am I?

Of what importance am I,

To be given

This magnificent gift

Of creation?

I am God’s child,

I am perfect, 

And that’s all God can create.

He cannot create imperfection,

It is not of his nature,

It is impossible.

Yes,

I am God’s perfect child.

Can that really be?

It is God’s will.

Who am I?

I am magnificence, 

In the flesh that God has created,

And what does that require of me?

It requires

That I perform with magnificence

For God.

That is my destiny.
