A Life Dedicated to God

If my life were dedicated to God,

It would involve a total commitment to Him. 

I would have to love God,

Not just a little bit, 

But with my whole being.

It would entail

The biggest commitment of my life.

But also it would bring the greatest reward.

It would enable me to live in heaven while on earth.

That’s the power I would receive.

Can you believe

If I dedicated myself totally to God,

I would be given

The possibility of bringing heaven to my existence on earth?

Who would have thought it possible?

Only God would have.

No one else.

And Only God would have done that. 

It would have required a gift from a generous God,

To one worthy of the gift,

And to one who believed in that possibility.

Do I wish to live a heavenly existence while on earth?

Of course I do!

Believe in it,

Your wisdom is powerful,

But it’s not alone.

Your wisdom comes from God

And that makes it even more powerful.

Ask God to share his wisdom.

Pray

And draw upon that wisdom,

Ask for it

And he will share it. 

Don’t under estimate the power of your wisdom,

When combined with God’s.

When you work with God

You have great power at your disposal.

Believe in God and his wisdom.

Don’t be a stranger to God.

He has all you need.

It’s really like believing in yourself,

Believing that you do have wisdom within you,

And that you are capable of accumulating wisdom,

And making wise decisions.

We all have the capability to learn.

We have to decide to do the right thing,

That’s wisdom,

We have to make it our goal.

And remember,

God is the man with all the wisdom.

Ask Him to make you a wise man or woman.

He will do it, If you ask.

He will do it

Because he wants us to be wise,

And he will give us the wisdom we need

To become a wise human being.

What more would you want to be?

Why Can’t I Learn from the Past?

Maybe

We don’t think we can.

Maybe nobody taught us the value of the past.

Or we just don’t know what there is to learn?

Maybe

The past can teach us.

Perhaps, that’s what it’s for.

Perhaps, we should learn from it.

Maybe 

There’s a lot of truth in the above statements. 

Let’s learn from the past.

Let it be our teacher.

Maybe

We should start seriously thinking 

About learning from the past.

Perhaps it really is of priceless value.

Maybe

Whatever happened to us in the past.

Was an opportunity for growth.

Perhaps we should use those opportunities.

That’s a good idea.

Believe there is a God.

If you don’t believe that,

Believe in something.

Believe in yourself,

Your kindness, your love and understanding,

Your good living.

We are really all the same in so many ways.

It’s okay to have different views of the world.

Nobody knows there is a God.

We believe it.

We just don’t know it.

Believing is good enough.

Believe in something.

Believe in what you may understand is best,

But believe,

Because believing is powerful.

It motivates,

It moves us forward.

And wondering why we’re not getting anywhere.

We need to change.

The solution is to get out of the circle,

In which we’re getting nowhere.

Find new solutions.

They’re out there waiting for us.

We can change.

We need to stop spinning around

In the same little circle.

Enlarge the circle.

Find new ideas.

And make the changes.

But do not think of asking,

If you don’t believe

That you will receive what you request,

Don’t even consider it.

You are wasting your time.

If you don’t believe

With your whole heart, soul and strength,

And with your whole being.

“Oh you of little faith,”

You will not receive what you requested.

Is the sine qua non,

Without which,

That’s the role of poetry.

Maybe even the impossible dream,

A world sustained by love.

What a wild dream that would be.

Believe

There is no limit of possibilities,

The hope of a new world,

Or at least, a new mankind.

Think

Unfetter your mind and let it be free,

And it will roam,

And it will see a butterfly.

Love

It’s at the heart of all my poems.

It’s at the heart of the universe.
