Learn from God’s Wisdom

Learn from God’s Wisdom
10/7/16
Friday

Learn from God’s wisdom

There’s so much to learn
Don’t deprive yourself of wisdom
We have so much to give and receive
So much awaits us
Search for it

Another way to learn
From God’s wisdom
Is to listen to God
He speakers to us in various ways
Listen carefully

The Past Is Not Our Burial Ground, It Is Our Resurrection

The Past Is Not Our Burial Ground
It Is Our Resurrection
6/20/16
Monday
Learn from the Past

The Past is not our Burial Ground
It is our Resurrection

The failures of the past,
Are the growth opportunities of the future.
They are our teachers.

We learn from the past,
Especially
From our failures.

For persons with addictions,
Relapse is part of recovery,
If they learn from it.

And for each one of us,
Learning from the past,
Is how we grow.

The past is not
Our burial ground,
It is our resurrection.

Choose the resurrection.

Why Can’t I Learn from the Past?

Why Can’t I Learn from the Past?
6/19/16
Sunday
Learn from the Past
Step Eight

Why Can’t I Learn from the Past?

Maybe
We don’t think we can.
Maybe nobody taught us the value of the past.
Or we just don’t know what there is to learn?

Maybe
The past can teach us.
Perhaps, that’s what it’s for.
Perhaps, we should learn from it.

Maybe
There’s a lot of truth in the above statements.
Let’s learn from the past.
Let it be our teacher.

Maybe
We should start seriously thinking
About learning from the past.
Perhaps it really is of priceless value.

Maybe
Whatever happened to us in the past.
Was an opportunity for growth.
Perhaps we should use those opportunities.

That’s a good idea.
Value those gifts.

Use the Past to Teach Us

Use the Past to Teach Us
To Reduce Anxiety
6/16/16
Thursday

Use the Past to Teach Us

Let’s keep learning.
Life’s for learning.
If we don’t keep learning,
We’ll keep repeating
The sins of the past.

Regarding anxiety,
The sins of the past
Are the repeated behaviors,
That produce the same anxiety
Over and over again.

It’s time to stop that,
And discover those behaviors
That produce your anxiety.
Change those worrisome behaviors.
Put your wisdom to work.

Start with finding
Your major perpetrator,
Your major anxiety creator.
What is it?
Make a plan to change it.
