God Loves Me

Isn’t that a lesson in happiness?

If I want to be happy

Shouldn’t I also

Love myself?

God loves me

That’s big

But of course he loves me

I’m his child

He loves every single child of his

God loves me

Appreciate that

He’s really asking me to love myself

Because I have to love myself first

To be truly happy

God loves me

That involves loving myself as well as others

If I don’t love myself

I am lacking in love

And happiness will not be mine

God loves me

It shows me I am loveable

And he requires that I love myself

I deserve to be loved

Especially by myself

And when I love myself

I will find happiness
