There’s just One God

One Source

 

How can there appear to be so many Gods?

I thought there was only one

And that he was mine

I look around

There’s Muhammad, Christ, Buddha

There’s Yahweh, Krishna and The Tao

And many more

But I know

There is just One Source, One God

Who wears many faces, many garments

He’s mine, he’s yours

He’s everyone’s

Welcome him

No matter who he appears to be

No matter how he looks

Not the color of his skin

Not the clothes he wears

None of it matters

Look deeply within yourself  and discover

He is your God and my God and everyone’s God

He’s beautiful

Even though he may not look so to you

Accept him as your God

And all his followers as your friend

No matter how they look or appear to you

And you will create a new world
